“ The closest youll come to an amazing home cooked Cuban cuisine. At first I was a bit confused by the location as the restaurant seemed hidden and empty. However I decided to give it a shot, and glad I did. Started with beef empanadas which had this amazing garlic sauce. Followed by my bistec empanizado, which was delicious. My plate included black beans and plantains which was all delicious. Will def be back, what a GEM. ”

“ I went with my family to Universal Studios and we stayed at the nearest Ramada In and what a surprise we got with the delicious food from Sotos located inside the hotel, we had a very good breakfast! The American coffee is more than good and the Espresso is not to be said... The food has a lot of flavor for demanding palates... it is a mix of Latin America that did not let me miss a classic Mexican breakfast... Furthermore, Valdo and his wife are Extremely friendly, as well as very pleasant and helpful... They have a wide breakfast menu for all tastes... We didnt have time to continue talking... We will return for another coffee, fried plantain, empanadas, chili, Cuban cake... Everything is delicious, and the talk is tasty too! They have a branch in L.A., so it is highly recommended to visit this restaurant if you are there. ”
“ Omg! I had never tried Cuban food. After this, I will be visiting more restaurants. The pollo asado was so flavorful and soft. The rice was so delicious had a lime taste with garlic. The plantains were so delicious as well! The sandwich Cubano was delicious. So flavorful. The arroz con leche was a little drier than Im used to but it was so delicious as well. The waitress was so wonderful. Clean restaurant and bathrooms available. This is right next to the Ramada Hotel this is why we found it. Would definitely visit again if I was to go back to Burbank. ”
“ What a wonderful surprise this place was, hidden in our hotel. Im thrilled that I got to eat there. Cuban comfort food at its best. My family agrees. Im familiar with Cuban food as my mothers side is from the Caribbean. I lived there and Miami for many years. My inlaws, with whom we were vacationing in SoCal, are also familiar with Cuban food as they live in Florida. So we feel confident when we share that Sotos Cuban Kitchen is authentic Cuban food at its finest. And the couple who run the place are the nicest people ever. My MIL loved the empanadas, and my FIL proclaimed the Cubano sandwich to be the best hes ever had. Me, I fell in love with all the food but especially the flan and the Cubano coffee. I went back twice to get more flan and coffee during the week. Im sad that this place isnt near where I live and that we only found it on vacation. Im envious of those of you who live nearby. I strongly recommend checking this place out. The food and service will have you going back often. ”
